While Messi originally missed time while competing with Argentina, fatigue is the latest reason for the international star’s delayed return to Inter Miami’s lineup. Messi did play in Miami’s recent 4-0 victory over Toronto FC but left the match with a slight limp.
Orlando City, currently No. 2 in the Eastern Conference, had won four of its last five before Wednesday’s 2-0 loss to New York City.
