A video of IShowSpeed has gone viral on TikTok where he reacts to the alleged death of Lionel Messi. Cristiano Roanldo’s superfan Speed is shocked and sad after reading the news.
Speed, real name Darren Watkins Jr., is a streamer who has achieved massive fame through his antics and his love for Ronaldo. He has traveled to different countries to watch the Portuguese superstar. A few months ago, he finally met Ronaldo, and the internet rejoiced at the moment.
However, due to his allegiance to Ronaldo, he was known to have hostility against Messi. During one of his recent streams, he came across an article that claimed Messi died in a “high-speed car accident.”

He was shocked upon reading the headline and read the article further. It claimed that his wife and children survived the crash but he did not. Speed also went to Messi’s Instagram account to check if he could find out the truth. There was an Instagram Story uploaded at the time which surprised him.
However, upon scrolling, he read that the article said there was no truth to this claim. Therefore, Messi was not involved in any crash and he is alive.
IShowSpeed was fooled by false reports claiming Cristiano Ronaldo died
This was not the first time Speed got fooled by a death hoax. He was also fooled by fans on his stream once who claimed that Ronaldo had died.
Speed scrolled X to find out the validity of the claims. He found multiple posts that said so. He was freaked out and said, “Bro, what the f**k is going on, bruh?! The f**k is going on, dog? Stop playing! Why are you playing like this, bro? Because I’m about to get f**king, like – I’m about to genuinely freak the f**k out!

He went on to ask his audience to tell him it was fake. He said, “Say it’s fake right now! Say this is fake! Y’all got 10 seconds, bro. Y’all got 10 seconds! If this (is) fake, say fake. If this (is) real, say real. Right now, bro! Right now!”
Obviously, it was fake. Speed is famous for providing such reactions to outrageous claims made on the internet. He has earned over 20 million subscribers on YouTube through his content.
