ESPN FC’s Gab Marcotti and Julien Laurens (The Gab and Juls show) say it’s not all doom and gloom at Barcelona despite a turbulent last 18 months, and believe there’s reason for optimism in Catalonia. Marcotti points to the “world class” players they have within in their squad such as Marc-André ter Stegen, Frenkie de Jong, Pedri and Ansu Fati, and says if the club hierarchy is able to persuade Lionel Messi to take a pay-cut on his lofty contract, things could be rosy at the Camp Nou once again.
