Lionel Messi gave his two-year-old son Ciro a personal workout during coronavirus quarantine in his gym, counting down the toddler’s reps before the Barcelona captain did an exercise of his own
Lionel Messi put his two-year-old son Ciro though his paces during coronavirus quarantine with an adorable workout which earned millions of views on Instagram.
The Barcelona captain is in lockdown with his family as football in Europe has been suspended for the foreseeable future.
He has been working hard to keep fit, though, sharing some intense workouts from his incredible private gym.
And footage has now emerged of two-year-old son Ciro, who made an appearance in his last workout clip, getting involved in training.
Messi’s wife Antonella Roccuzzo, 32, films the pair during the workout.
In the clip, Ciro can be seen lying on a red mat as his mum says: “Let’s see how you do abdominals.”
Eager to live up to the family name, Leo Messi’s youngest son Ciro has already started training under the guidance of his father. The Argentine is working out from his home in Barcelona amid the coronavirus lockdown and, on Wednesday, had a teammate to accompany him.
